Company

AI that understands buildings.

A building starts as hundreds of drawings. Mebbian reads them all and finds the mistakes before anyone builds.

The name

Why we call it Mebbian.

The name combines “memory” with “Hebbian,” an idea about learning. When two things happen together often, the brain can learn to connect them.

Our company brain follows that idea. It keeps your firm’s project knowledge and past decisions so your team can use them again.

How Mebbian started

We started by listening.

We walked into architecture firms and builders across Texas to learn what costs them most. One architect spent two hours walking us through it. A mistake can take two drawings to spot: equipment appears on one, but its power connection is missing from the electrical plan.

So we built Mebbian to look for missing doors, different measurements for the same room and equipment without a shown power connection. Your team checks what it finds.

Co-founder & CEO

Leads Mebbian and builds the product. Spent months inside architecture and construction offices learning how mistakes in plans affect their work.

“I saw my architect friends, my construction friends, general contractors go through this problem very deeply.”

Runs operations and finance. Built an automation agency and saw firms get generic results when they used AI on their own.

“I really love when I’m able to get on a call with some business and fix a problem they’ve had for a while now.”
Where we are going

Help at each step of a building project.

Many teams work on a building. If an architect moves a wall, other teams may need to move pipes or wiring. We start by checking drawings, then aim to help with more of the work.

Today

Mistakes in the drawings

Mebbian checks building plans for mistakes, such as a door drawn on the floor plan but missing from the door list.

Next

Plans and written requirements

We want Mebbian to compare plans with written requirements and later changes. If a window changes, it would show which pages still show the old one.

Then

The paperwork after the bid

We want Mebbian to help prepare lists of changes and documents for approval. Your team would check and send them.

Later

The building on site

We want Mebbian to compare site photos with the plans, to help spot a wall or door built in the wrong place.

Research

Can a computer really understand a building?

Reading a building plan means understanding lines, symbols, measurements and notes together. We study how to teach a computer to do that and how to check its answers.

Tests on real building projects

We are testing the AI on real building work. The tests measure what it gets right and what it misses. We plan to share the results.

Reading what is drawn

Teaching Mebbian to read lines, symbols and dimensions together with the notes, the way an experienced reviewer does.

Memory that improves

We are studying how the company brain can learn from your team’s decisions and use them on later projects.
